BIO
Kaajel Patel is a London-based visual artist, set designer & dancer. She studied fine art Painting at Wimbledon College of Art where she began fusing her interests in live art & dance into moving paintings, installations & set design. Kaajel is also trained in Bollywood as well as some Kathak. She teaches an empowering & risqué Bollywood cabaret class 'Bollysass' at East London Burlesque.
Currently she is working on a series of paintings focusing on British Asian women and their relationship to sari's. Kaajel is also a cabaret performer with The Bitten Peach, a queer Pan-Asian performance collective.
She is a many handed goddess with numerous expressions of her creativity!
